Ah, Bobbin, the titular character and protagonist. She attends Shi Cheng School, and is 17 years old. Overall, she is a pleasant girl, if kind of weird, and has a strong sense of right and wrong, even though this doesn't necessarily correlate with society's. She is addicted to caffeine and has an imaginary friend named Nenewarlus, which brings her both distress and happiness.
Jane is Bobbin's best friend. Together, they have fun bringing misery and torment into the lives of their peers, many of whom consider themselves friends. Jane is attractive (yes, I'm telling you that) and much more socially able and "normal" than her best friend. Though she has a bit of a mean streak and takes it out on Bobbin sometimes, deep down inside they really do love each other. Aww..
Ping Ping Guo is the most responsible, sensible, and level-headed girl in class. She is the epitome of filial piety and feminine virtue. She is also very nice, and doesn't mind Bobbin and Jane making her life hell. She does not understand them a lot of the time. However, she hates her parents for her stupid name, which they probably thought was very funny at the time. (Ping Ping Guo means 'Flat Apple' in Chinese.) She prefers to be called Ping Ping, and sometimes people call her PPG.
DemonWoman, a.k.a. DW (note: not DarkWing Duck), is an enigma, and many people would prefer her to stay that way. She seems to have a perennial case of PMS and doesn't usually say anything to anybody. When she does, it is inevitably a barrage of profanities. Nobody knows DemonWoman's actual name, background, or what her feet look like. Why she is so cynical and hateful of the world is a mystery, but, hey, at least it entertains! Nevertheless, Bobbin and Jane enjoy her company.
Unicornerella is the most sickeningly sweet girl in Shi Cheng School, the whole of Singapore, and probably the entire universe. It remains to be seen whether that really is her actual name. But she is pleasant to the extent of being gross, and Bobbin and Jane are scared silly by her emotional overtures. She can do no wrong, and wears a hairband even though she doesn't need it. She is head prefect, pretty, popular, and loved by (almost) everyone. Hell, she might as well replace her hairband with a tiara.
Flora Chan is the megalomaniacal, blood-thirsty vice-head prefect of Shi Cheng. She is the anti-Unicornerella. Skinny, wily, conniving, sly, mean, and trigger-happy with her cattleprod (which sounds weird, because cattleprods have no triggers), she treats her juniors as her minions and secretly harbours evil plans to usurp Uni and enslave the entire student population. Flora is the kind of person who would look good behind a Darth Vader mask. But other than for that, she's pretty ok.
Brett, the only guy in the comic (still). He's semi-cool and has got a nice hairstyle, and is popular in the sense that everyone knows his name, what he looks like and the things he does, but not much more. He goes around with his shirt perpetually half tucked. Although this is against school rules, the teachers excuse him, because the female ones all harbour secret crushes on him, and the male ones fancy they once were him. Head of the boys' squash team, Brett can be somewhat jerk-ish, but usually gets away with it.
